Are you an independent maker who wants to sell online without having to build and manage an entire online store yourself?


ATJ & Co. is building a small, curated marketplace featuring products from independent makers alongside our own. Think of it as a smaller, more personal alternative to a large handmade marketplace — somewhere customers can discover unique products, support small businesses, and even request something they can't find.

Selling online can involve a lot more than simply making a great product. Websites, payment processing, shipping, product listings, customization systems, and marketing all take time and money to set up.

ATJ & Co. gives makers another way to sell online without having to do all of that alone.


As an ATJ & Co. seller, you can benefit from:

  • No payment system to set up — customers purchase directly through ATJ & Co.'s checkout.
  • No listing fees or upfront selling costs — we only make money when you make a sale.
  • Flexible customization options — your products aren't limited to rigid dropdown menus. Depending on what you sell, we can offer text fields, multiple selections, image uploads, and more interactive customization experiences.
  • Simplified shipping — we purchase the shipping label and send it directly to you.
  • Less competition — we intentionally limit the number of sellers and similar products within each category.
  • Shared promotion — ATJ & Co. promotes the marketplace and features makers and products, while sellers also help promote their own products and ATJ & Co.


Custom Products Welcome


We love products that customers can make their own.


Many traditional ecommerce platforms can be restrictive when it comes to highly customizable products. At ATJ & Co., we have more flexibility to create a shopping experience that works for the product.

For example, our Beaded Pen Builder allows customers to build their own pen by selecting the individual components they want rather than choosing from a few predetermined options.

If you offer personalized or customizable products, we'll work with you to determine the best way to offer those choices through ATJ & Co.


Simple, Upfront Pricing


There are no listing fees or upfront selling costs.


ATJ & Co. takes a 25% commission when your product sells. You keep the remaining 75%.


Commission is calculated on the product price only — not shipping or applicable taxes.


We only make money when you make a sale.


What ATJ & Co. Handles


ATJ & Co. handles the:

  • Online storefront
  • Website costs and maintenance
  • Customer checkout and payment processing
  • Customer-facing order experience
  • Shipping labels and tracking
  • Marketing of the ATJ & Co. marketplace


We'll also feature individual makers and products as part of our overall content and marketing.


Marketing is a shared effort, though. We don't guarantee individual sales or dedicated advertising for every product. We encourage our makers to share their listings and introduce their own audiences to ATJ & Co. too.


Shipping Made Simple


You don't need to purchase your own shipping labels for ATJ & Co. orders.


We'll find the best shipping deal available to us for each order and purchase the label for you. Once your order is ready, we'll email you the prepaid shipping label.


You simply make it, pack it, attach the label, and drop it off with the designated carrier.


ATJ & Co. can then manage shipping and tracking for the customer while keeping the process simple for you.


Fulfillment


Makers typically keep their own inventory and fulfill their own orders.


When you receive an order, you'll prepare and package it within your agreed processing time. We'll provide the shipping label for you to attach before dropping off the package.


Need a different arrangement?


We're happy to discuss storage and fulfillment options on a case-by-case basis. Depending on your products, inventory needs, and location, ATJ & Co. may be able to store and fulfill some or all of your products for you.

Any additional costs or commission associated with storage or fulfillment will always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.


What You'll Handle


As an ATJ & Co. maker, you'll be responsible for:

  • Keeping your inventory and product information accurate
  • Providing accurate descriptions and quality product photos
  • Making or preparing your products
  • Packaging orders securely
  • Having orders ready within the agreed processing time
  • Promoting your products and ATJ & Co. to your own audience
  • Letting us know promptly about inventory, production, or fulfillment issues


We're working together: ATJ & Co. provides the tools and another place to sell, while you continue creating, growing, and promoting your own business.


A Curated Marketplace


We don't want ATJ & Co. to become another marketplace where hundreds of makers are competing to sell essentially the same thing.


We're intentionally keeping the marketplace smaller and limiting the number of sellers and similar products within each category.


This gives customers variety without overwhelming them — and gives our makers a better opportunity to actually be discovered.


Potential sellers and products are considered based on our current selection, available categories, product quality, and overall fit with ATJ & Co. Some categories may temporarily close as they fill.
